Interview with Dr. Jill Biden

ll-biden/dsc00359> Today was extraordinarily exciting and fun. I got a
chance to interview Dr. Jill Biden, the wife of the Vice President of
the United States, as well as an English educator.

It was quite thrilling and I was nervous at first. However, when I
started talking to her I felt cool, calm, and collected because she was
sweet. Dr. Biden made it easy for me to interact with her.

As one of the GlobalGirls, it was an opportunity for me to represent our
team and give my best during the interview. I asked her a few questions,
such as, "what values do you stand for that you would want the youth of
Africa to follow" as well as, "as an educator, what views do you have on
African education and what would you do to make it better?"

She was happy to answer my questions and responded by saying that she
would like to see more involvement in our education system to promote
unity.

questions after our interview. She wanted to know what careers we want
to pursue. The girls opened up to her and she motivated us to continue
with our studies so we can pursue our hopes and dreams.

Dr. Biden is a wonderful, phenomenal, and beautiful woman. At the end of
our interview she hugged me and shook my hand. It made me feel
important.
