Hey gang - it looks like the dates are getting locked in for the National Parks Trip. The specifics of the schedule are still in the preliminary stages but this is what I know right now. Friday, July 23 - 7:00 pm wheels up from Andrews Tuesday, July 27 - 10:00 pm wheels down, Andrews We are currently looking at (and this is flexible at this point) starting in Yellowstone (spending Saturday, Sunday and half of Monday) and arriving in the Grand Canyon on Monday afternoon and being there through Tuesday afternoon. Dad would not have any official events on Saturday or Sunday - both days are reserved for family activities. He will likely do a Recovery event on Monday morning and be done by 12:30 with the remainder of the day open for family activities. He will likely do a Recovery event on Tuesday morning, be done by 12:30, have family activities from 12:30 - 3:30 and then be wheels up at 4:00 pm en route Andrews. One thing Dad expressed a strong interest in is rafting in the Grand Canyon. Our advance team hasn't hit the ground yet and once they do, they will be able to give us some specific recommendations for family activities, but in the meantime, if you have anything in mind in terms of horseback riding, hiking, etc., let me know so we can start looking into those specific activities. Typical weather forecast for this time of year: Grand Canyon - Average temps: highs in the low 80's, lows in the mid 40's Yellowstone - Average temps: highs in high 60's, lows in high 30's Michele
