Hello NAC members,


This is just a friendly reminder to get back to me regarding lodging for our
upcoming meeting in Seattle, and to contact Judy at Uniglobe if you need
flight arrangements.


In the original email (copied below) I asked that you respond about lodging
by this Thursday. As it turns out, I am not in that day, so please contact
me about lodging by Wednesday, April 12th. Thanks much and please get in
touch if you have questions about anything.

Greetings National Alumni Council!


We are looking forward to seeing you at our upcoming National Alumni Council
meeting in Seattle the weekend of June 2-4. As you know, this is the same
weekend as our annual Seattle event which will take place the evening of
June 3rd. We will be making arrangements for those who need lodging at the
Silver Cloud Inn, 1100 Broadway, Seattle, WA 98122. The hotel is within
walking distance of the Seattle U campus, where our meeting and the annual
Seattle gathering will take place. This year's annual event will honor and
celebrate our Copper Valley volunteers.


To ensure travel and lodging arrangements, please do the following:

* Notify Clarissa McDearmon, Advancement Administrative Assistant,
at (503) 335-8202, or <mailto:advancement@jvcnorthwest.org>
advancement@jvcnorthwest.org as to whether or not you need lodging by April
12th. We currently have a discounted room rate, but are not guaranteed
availability, so we want to make arrangements as soon as possible. We have
been advised that weekends in June fill up early. You are, of course,
welcome to make your own lodging arrangements. If you are open to sharing a
room with someone on the Council (it would be a room with two Queen beds),
please let Clarissa know.

* If you will be flying to Seattle, to book your flight, please
contact Judy Lawhead at Uniglobe Travel. She can be reached via email at
<mailto:Uniglobe_Judy@hotmail.com> Uniglobe_Judy@hotmail.com or phone at
800.825.7314. Because lower airfares are secured when reservations are made
early, we would appreciate it if you would contact Judy as soon as possible
and make your flight arrangements no later than May 1. We have instructed
Judy to have everyone arrive in Seattle no later than 2 p.m. on June 2, as
our meeting will begin at 4 pm. As with lodging, if you wish to make your
own flight reservations at your expense, you are welcome to do so, but
please let Clarissa know so she can inform Judy.

We are excited to meet in person for the second time! You will receive
further details about the meeting and logistics regarding transportation
from the airport, etc. In the meantime, please contact Anne

should you have any questions.
