Hi RSP family xo

This February, Maeve's former math teacher whom she had in 6th grade, was arrested for sexually assaulting two girls at Maeve's school.

Last school year, Maeve reported this man's inappropriate behavior 4 times to counseling and 1 time to the principal. In spite of her efforts, the school kept him and this year he assaulted those girls.

Maeve has been asked to be a witness at his trial. She is very strong and courageous but was upset that she could have done more even though she was one of the only people trying to stop him.

Recently it came out that two other school systems let him go for similar behavior, yet they told our school they'd "hire him again."

I am attaching a. It's that Josh Alcorn wrote to Maeve for doing the right thing and to commend her for her bravery. She was so very very thrilled to receive it. I am sharing it with you.

Thank you all for the work you do for the Foundation.
Love,
-- Katie
