While many U.S. government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and civil society groups focus on women’s empowerment, many lack an actionable agenda with which to improve the lives of women on a large scale. The event will focus on the challenges that women-owned and -operated businesses, factories, and farms face in scaling up, entering multinational supply chains, and supporting the livelihoods of women in developing countries.
