Subject: NOTICE: Recycle Day at Washington Harbour - Wednesday, April 19
Good Afternoon,

In celebration of Earth Month and the acts we can do for the health of our planet, we are happy to hold an upcoming Recycling Day at Washington Harbour - next Wednesday, April 19, 9am – 1pm. We are partnering with several vendors to provide onsite recycling opportunities. Please join us with any and all paper, electronic, or bicycle recycling!

See below for full descriptions of vendors and acceptable goods:

Georgetown Paper Stock – Paper Recycling and Onsite Shredding.
Dispose and shred documents, paper, files, folders, envelops and more. Paper clips and staples are permitted.

Capital Asset Recycling – Electronics & Batteries
Safely dispose of any computers, batteries (all types), keyboards, ink/toner, scanners, radios, hard drives, televisions, toasters and more! Full list of acceptable items attached.

Bikes for the World – Bicycle and Bike Parts Collection. Refurbishing old bikes to those in need across the globe.
Donate any serviceable complete (or near complete) adult or children’s bicycles, bicycle spare parts (including tubes, tires, wheels, seats, chains, etc.), and usable bike accessories (including helmets, pumps, locks, gloves, and bike tools). Also will collect operating portable sewing machines. $10 suggested donation for rehabilitation of bikes is welcome. Children’s tricycles, scooters, or “rust-bucket” bikes not accepted. Collections will be staged at the 3000K garage entrance. Please note, vendors will not be transporting items from office spaces down to the collection area.
