Katie-- I'm not sure we have had the pleasure of meeting. I am Patty Dailey Lewis, Executive Director of the Beau Biden Foundation. I worked with Beau during his entire tenure as Attorney General, and was the Deputy Attorney General in charge of the Family Division; I have worked with children and other vulnerable victims for 30 years. Your daughter is truly courageous. Many grown adults would not do what your daughter did. Following up on Hunter's email I'd love to talk with you about your daughter, and when she could come and spend a little time with us this summer. We are working on a few issues that concern the circumstances your daughter went through. I also would love to get your daughter's thoughts on some programming for young women about victimization and speaking out. I am afraid not many young women have Maeve's courage. I am traveling this week. (Actually, I am trying to travel....been in the airport for 10 hours and counting ! ) But I'd love to connect when you are available during April. My cell is 302-379-0746. I look forward to talking and arranging a meeting. Best to you both-- Patty Patricia Dailey Lewis, Esq.
