Join us for the
Earth Day Celebration
at Inspiration
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Saturday, April 22nd
from 6pm-10:30pm
In the midst of the legendary "mystery and magic", and unique eco-system of the
Inspiration sanctuary and the land surrounding Inspiration we can feel into the
voice and language of Gaia, birds, foxes, deer, squirrels, insects, trees, plants,
endangered species of grasses, and serpentine rocks. We can renew, restore and open
a dialogue with the matrix that supports our lives.
Bring a vegetarian dish, drums and your heart filled soul to join in on the day's
festivities.
Schedule of Events...
6 pm - Earth Day meditation, inner journey of listening, and blessings to the Earth
6:15pm - Paula Becker from Maryland Department of Natural Resources, talk and hike
about the geology and fauna of Soldier's Delight
7 pm - Sweat Lodge OR Sound Healing - you choose

All 2017 Sweat Lodge Ceremonies
Earth Day Sweat - April 22, 2017 at 6pm (Earth day ceremony and potluck)
Summer Sweat - June 17, 2017 at 10am
Fall Sweat - September 23, 2017 at 10am
Everyone is welcome and everyone can participate. The beginning of the ceremony
is building the fire, covering the lodge and preparing the site. Bring ample water
to drink or a water bottle that you can refill here, a light snack, a towel and
suitable clothes for the lodge. We happily welcome guests who are new to sweat lodges
as well as those who have attended many times before. Bring your intentions, prayers,
songs, heart, body, mind & spirit for a morning immersed in nature and magic.
If you are able, donations of cantaloupe-sized rocks like granite, basalt or limestone
are always appreciated. We ask donations of $20 for the sweats and if you can give
more, the non-profit community will certainly put those funds to great use. Most
of the donations collected at our sweats have gone directly back into maintaining
and improving these ceremonies and the structure of the lodge itself.
Many thanks to all of you who have worked and participated to keep these ceremonies
alive and vibrant here for so many years. We honor you and all of our ancestors.
