Hunter, we first have to decide where he wants to get the anti-PD1 antibodies, at Jefferson, or at MDACC, each place will have to get the insurance approval separately. I will have to check if one can get insurance approval without saying when it will be administered. I will check on that. Al W.K. Thanks for the email. Is it possible to prescribe the anti-PD1 before the end of the year, regardless of when he actually will take the medicine/ treatment. I would like to get an answer about insurance coverage before he changes jobs on January 5th. I added Howard to this email. I am not impressed with the new area of enhancement seen in yesterday’s scan, I think it a necrosis area. As to the question of a drug holiday so to see if Beau will get stronger without so much treatment. I think it is too risky to stop both drugs, and my intention is really to use the anti-PD-1 antibodies (Pembrolizumab) with Avastin when we take away CCNU. It will be OK to give Beau a few weeks of break from CCNU to see how the weakness will go. I like him to continue with the Avastin, get the dose tomorrow, and we can touch base again after the New Year and to decide on what to do with CCNU. Al W.K. He sounded a little concerned about the latest necrosis that developed. Should Beau get the avastin tomorrow as scheduled? Do you think moving away from the avastin could be helpful? Let me know your thoughts when you get a chance, thanks, Hallie -- Hallie Olivere Biden
