new this year, will include sugar demonstrations, the opportunity to

own truffles and learn how to mix your own special cocktail, as well
as private access to speak with some of DC's hottest chefs! The

Tasting Room presents a special savory gathering prepared by some of
the
most exceptional chefs of the national capital region. Enjoy
delectable
confections complemented by some of the world's finest sparkling
wines.

Architects for Animals

is a fundraising and awareness initiative that supports our
community cat program - CatNiPP.
"Giving Shelter" is a one-night event that will benefit
WHS. Participating architectural design firms build and
donate creative outdoor winter shelters to provide DC's
homeless cats
with refuge from the season's freezing temperatures. These
shelters will
be on display to the public at the event and at the end of the
evening
all shelters will be donated to volunteer care givers who work with
WHS. The
shelters will be distributed throughout DC to be utilized by community

cats.
