Dear President’s Council Members,

I wanted to reach out to wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I hope that you will have a wonderful time celebrating with family and friends and will truly feel the joy of the season.

It was so great to see many of you at our Mass and reception earlier this month. It was a beautiful evening and I’m so glad that we were able to share with you firsthand some inspiring stories from our staff, volunteers, and clients.

As we mentioned that evening, there is a volunteer opportunity on the morning of Friday, December 26th which I think many of you would find to be a meaningful experience. We will be serving a St. Stephen’s day brunch for the women and men of our Dorothy Day Place/Bethesda House transitional housing programs. Let me also take this opportunity to tell you once again how grateful I am for your service as a President’s Council member. You are my trusted advisor, and your guidance, support, and dedication make such a difference to me and to our work. I will be in touch soon after the New Year with information on our next meeting, which will take place in late winter.
