"Power without love is reckless and abusive, and love without power is sentimental
and anemic ~ Martin Luther King Jr.
Studying and learning the authentic inner work of type, instincts, and the principle
of the "Law of Three" were meant to go beyond basic self-knowledge, and to be part
of a process of learning to work more consciously with others. Thus, authentic inner
work can play a unique and powerful role in cultivating the emergence of a more
integrated and impactful social activism. Particularly, it can be used to create
more conscious involvement, to dissolve the inevitable shadow issues that tend
to form in any kind of dedicated organizations and group, and foster an emergence
of the sacred in our activism.
So let's "Rise Up" together and explore the growing need in many of us to participate
with presence, wisdom and love in the political and cultural processes of our time.
Following in the inspiring footsteps of conscious spiritual and social activists,
both historic and modern,we can explore how each of us can have a greater impact
on building a culture of love, wisdom and presence.

Together we will do a deep personal and collective exploration of:
* the gifts each type can bring to sacred activism
* the gifts each instinct can bring to sacred activism
* the blind spots each type might bring to activism
* the blind spots each instinct might bring to activism
* personal awakening through conscious social activism
* the gifts and challenges of individual creativity, empowerment, guidance
and functioning
* the gifts and challenges of collective creativity, empowerment, guidance and
functioning
* new paradigms of conscious social activism from presence
There's an old African proverb that says "If you want to go quickly, go alone. If
you want to go far, go together." We have to go far - quickly. And that means we
have to quickly find a way to change the world's consciousness about exactly what
we're facing, and why we have to work to solve it. ~ Al Gore
The first part of the weekend will focus on learning, discussions and inner work--our
personal development and readiness. We will then spend Sunday afternoon creating
actions that each of us can do individually to contribute to transforming our society
AND seeing if there is a group project that wants to come out of this workshop to
impact our culture.
