Today Pennsylvania Superior Court Judge H. Geoffrey Moulton, Jr. announced his campaign for his first full term on the Superior Court.

Judge Moulton was appointed to the Pennsylvania Superior Court by Governor Wolf in August 2016 and unanimously confirmed by the Pennsylvania Senate. Prior to this appointment, Moulton served as Deputy General Counsel in the Pennsylvania Office of General Counsel. A tenured professor at Widener University School of Law for almost two decades, Moulton has served in roles ranging from Deputy Special Inspector General for the Troubled Asset Relief Program to Chief Counsel to U.S. Senator Ted Kaufman (D-Delaware) during the drafting of the Affordable Care Act and the confirmations of Supreme Court Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagen. Additionally, Moulton served two stints as an assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

In a time of uncertainty in our federal courts, it is important that all Pennsylvanians have confidence in our Commonwealth’s judiciary. Judge Moulton will use his experience as a judge, a prosecutor, and a law school professor to ensure that the Superior Court is an institution that makes us proud.
