Registration is open for the second annual Beau Biden Foundation Trail Run, and we're calling on you to participate.

Last year, over 500 runners crossed the finish line, helping us raise close to $6,000 for the Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children. This year, we're going all out. We want to outpace our 2016 mark by $14,000.

Our goal is to raise $20,000 from runners and their social networks, so we can expand our awareness programs. We're counting on you to get us there.

Register for the 5k or 10k here. The first 700 registered runners will get an Under Armour Foundation beanie!

Beau was a steadfast public servant who dedicated his life to defending those in need. He believed in protecting the most vulnerable among us, and as Delaware's Attorney General, he did by prosecuting a major child sexual abuse case.

This issue defined Beau's career. It led him to raise awareness for child abuse and work tirelessly to put an end to it. Beau's foundation carries on his mission by educating communities to recognize signs of abuse and implement strategies to protect children from becoming victims.

The best way to prevent child abuse is to educate children and adults. Proceeds from this trail run will help us do it.

Beau was an avid runner who loved to log miles on Delaware's beautiful, challenging trails. This is your chance to advance a cause Beau devoted his life to while doing something he loved.

Stand up, speak out, and run hard.

Team Biden
