Arlene & Eric:

The attached letter was hand delivered to Freddie Mac Friday, October 15, 2010 at NOON. I received a call from the Freddie Mac project manager Friday afternoon confirming the investors would close if Treasury approved the transaction.

A source at FHFA just told us they have a copy of the reconsideration letter and they are waiting for a transmittal request from Freddie Mac so it can be forwarded to the Treasury for disposition.

We need Treasury approval in WRITING November 3, 2010 in order to meet Board Of Director Agendas to close by year end during the lame duck session.
