These guys are experts in “Reputation Risk”. Their lead guy Dr. Nir Kossovsky – he is their version on Thad Brown. They have a Reputation Index for publically traded companies. They are launching an ETF product and a Hedge Fund where you can buy and sell the “reputation” of a company – i.e., BP or IBM. Plan is to sell it as a hedging product to large portfolios that have large exposure to large publically traded companies, like Pensions, Hedge Funds, SWFs, etc.


I see this as a similar concept to “Political Risk” and it’s interesting to see how they have taken a similar concept and commercialized it to this point


Ticonderoga is the securities firm that is creating the index and forming the hedge fund around this.

I know them both very well. Nathan is Sen. Daschle's son and Jill is his wife. She has been working with Entrust for years. Nathan is the exec dir of the Democratic Governors Assoc- Jill is not someone that would be looking for partners and would view us very much as direct competition.

They are working with Public Pension plans on investment allocations / strategy. It looks like she has some real pros from Goldman on her team. Not sure if she joined them, of if she pulled them in. Her husband runs some sort of Democratic Governor thing. It seems like they have some good traction in this space. Is she/he someone we’d approach to learn from / partner with?
