Thanks for the input below. I agree that using a data base to get initial
answers to our questions is great. I have used per trac previously. It costs
about $15,000 per year and has a lot more information and interactive tools
that we would need.

As a recent participant in the Alternative Assets Conference Las Vegas we
would like to share with you a copy of our Annual Hedge Fund Database study.
It’s a comprehensive look at the hedge fund, fund of funds, and CTA universe
in the midst of a very turbulent 2009 calendar year. In addition, we’ve
released the latest update on "The Impact of Size and Age on Hedge Fund
Performance" (Emerging Manager study). This study looks at performance
trends of funds based on AUM and length of track record.
