R.Hunter - I have no doubt that our country is better off today than it was eight years ago.

Eight years ago, President Obama inspired our country with the words "Yes, we can," and under his leadership, we did. We struck down Don't Ask, Don't Tell and brought marriage equality to all 50 states; we turned the tide on the Great Recession and saw 75 straight months of job growth; we entered a landmark global agreement to stem climate change; and, yes, we guaranteed the right to safe and affordable health care for tens of millions of Americans.

President Obama has selflessly served our country, making all of us better for it, and now more than ever we need to honor his legacy. I hope you'll join me in thanking him:

Throughout the last eight years, Delaware's own Joe Biden stood with President Obama shoulder to shoulder as our vice president. More than a confidant, Vice President Biden led efforts to implement the stimulus, save the auto industry and champion a historic new cancer moonshot initiative. These efforts only build on his decades-long commitment to serving our country and stand as a model for every elected official.

Like so many Americans, I've long been inspired by the passion, heart, character and integrity that Vice President Biden brings to everything he does. I look forward to all that he will continue to do to make our country and our world a better place.
