On Friday, January 20, 2017, you are cordially invited to a "Welcome Home"
rally, honoring our very own hometown heroes, Vice President Joseph R.
Biden, Jr. and the Second Lady, Dr. Jill Biden.

Even though those of us in Delaware know that Joe and Jill never really
left, we want to take this opportunity to show our love, admiration and
appreciation for all that they have done for us, our state, and our nation,
throughout a lifetime of faithful public service.

The Bidens are expected to attend the Presidential Inauguration on January
20, 2017, then travel back to Wilmington directly thereafter. Please join
us at 2:30 PM at the Chase Center on the Riverfront for a welcome home
rally with remarks from Governor Carney, Wilmington Mayor Mike Purzycki,
and members of the Congressional Delegation.

The Chase Center is located at 815 Justison Street, Wilmington, DE 19801.
Security will be on site. Backpacks and coolers are prohibited.

*FROM TERRY:*

We have made arrangements for the family to park and come in a side
entrance (by 1:45 PM, please), where we will escort you to a holding room
to relax and unwind for a few minutes prior to the start of the rally.
Once we receive word that Joe and Jill are on their way from the station,
we will escort you to a special Family Section in the ballroom. Please
note that this is not a seated event, but if any of you have a special need
for a seat, just let me know.
