*MEET BRYAN GARMAN: Thursday January 15* All Upper School parents are invited to meet new Head of School Bryan Garman on Thursday January 15, 8:00 am-9:00 am, in the Robert L. Smith Meeting Room. This is one of many opportunities for parents to meet Bryan at upcoming events. As Bryan said in this interview with journalist and former Sidwell Friends parent Judy Woodruff, “I learned who I wanted to be in room 212,” of the Harrison Upper School Building. The Room 212 Tour is a series of events to welcome Bryan back and give him a chance to meet all of you. RSVP at events@sidwell.edu or 202-537-8110. To view the complete calendar of events for the Room 212 Tour, please click here. *COMING SOON: Family Casserole Bake on February 22* 10th grade families are going to stamp out hunger in our community, one casserole at a time! Get ready to make good eats with great company: our grade-wide family community service project is rapidly approaching! There are all sorts of jobs, big and small for this event. We will meet in the Sidwell US Dining Room on Sunday, February 22, from 12-2. With many hands, we can do amazing things. Plan on spending time together listening to good music and having lots of fun. Our hard work will benefit organizations in our community including So Others Might Eat (SOME), Martha’s Table, Thrive DC, and Central Union Kitchen. *More to come soon!* Your 10th Grade Representatives, ~Linda, Tisha, Sunita and Roby
