My own suspicion is that when my name shows up, they use "Muhammad Islam" as first name / last name since that is my official name and that is a common Muslim name and so it possibly gets flagged (as an example when I was stopped the other day at JFK there was another person there with the same name). A lot of Muslims have Muhammad in their name because of its significance but it doesn't get used; in my case, my first name is Munib and other than my passport, Munib Z Islam is the way I write my name. Anyways just wanted to provide that context. If you need me to speak to someone to provide any more details, please let me know. Thanks a lot for your help.
