EMAIL DETAILS

I'm not sure who to direct this to, Hunter probably, so I'll copy everyone. Hunter, as a new Senator in Illinois, I was selected to introduce your Dad at all the Law Schools in Chicago when he first got elected to the Senate. We had a great time together and saw each other many times subsequently at Conventions and thru one of my good friends, Cong. Marty Russo. Hunter, you may remember that when you came to the opening of Joe's in DC, you were going to set up a dinner for the 3 of us. Regardless, I am Chairman of THE big event in Illinois supporting Gun Control. We have honored Ted Kennedy, Michael Bloomberg, Rahm Emanuel, Dick Durbin, Jim Brady and many other political luminaries. We like to honor your Dad this year at luncheon in February (if that works with his schedule). It would be during the week on a date that works for him. PLEASE, run this up the flagpole and let me know if this is possible. It is a very prestigious Organization and Event and would garner a substantial amount of publicity. If March is better, we may be able to move the date. Regardless, please let me know as soon as possible.
