Cathy Mc Laughlin was the Ex Director of the IOP at the Kennedy School at Harvard for the past 23 years- she ran it . She is leaving Harvard to do something else… and she will come to Delaware next Tuesday and Wednesday ( Sept 7&8 ) to talk to us about setting up our Biden Center/Institute at UD.

She gets in Tuesday evening - Jack and I will arrange for her pick up at the airport and take her to dinner. Wednesday - you guys are all in please.

She will want to see the University and I assume we should have her meet w/ Jeff and Alan at the University. Hunter , I completely absolutely need you with me - you are the central person in this and I can’t do it without you. I am leaving those arrangements up to you. Maybe we should all meet before for breakfast before we take her to UD ? - your call.

She will stay all day Wednesday and into Thursday if we need her. I have to leave Thursday mornig to officiate a wedding in Martha’s Vineyard so I an not available at all on Thursday.

Please confirm today so I know we are all in accord and that the DE guys will be available.
