Hi Hunter,
Long time no talk. I hope all is well with you. Thank you again, and your father, and "Doc" Kevin, for all your support early on when my son Bennett got sick. He is continuing his fight, but it's a slow struggle. Still, his ability to endure, and to give it all he's got, is inspiring us. He has incredible strength, and we believe he will pull through this.

It doesn't look as if he will be strong enough to take advantage of your offer to come see the West Wing, etc., while your father is still in office - but I wonder if it might be possible for me to come down with our older son, John, who is almost 10. As you can imagine, this has been a pretty terrible time for him, and a special trip to the White House (Kevin also mentioned riding in the bullet-proof limo?) would be amazing for him.

I completely understand if this is not possible, as I'm sure things are incredibly busy, but I thought I would ask. Either way, I remain grateful to you and your family.
