in England July 16-25 and watch the World Cup, here is a great opportunity!

*Information below about the trip:*

It is with great pleasure that we announce an incredible lacrosse
opportunity for our high school team members this summer. This year we are
offering a special trip abroad to play lacrosse and represent the United
States at the World Cup Festival 2017 in the U19 Competition held in
Surrey, England. This is an outside trip and not affiliated with any club
or high school. We plan on entering 4- U19 teams to compete in the event,
do some other tours (trip to Oxford, London, and to the beach in Brighton)
along with watching the World Cup event and cheering on Team USA and Team
Ireland (Coach Walsh and Coach Helmer’s team). Players wishing to play on
the team should contact Stacey Williams (swilliams@sssas.org). I have
attached information below that should answer any preliminary questions
families may have regarding the event. We will also be offering this trip
to other lacrosse players in the area to fill the rosters. All teams will
have 16 field players and 2 Gks.


· Players will depart the United States on Sunday evening, July the 16th
and return on Tuesday, July the 25th.
· The cost of the trip: TBD (about $3500/$3600) *(cost of plane: British
Airways plane ticket approximately $1500 dollars, approximately $1,500 (for
touring trip, breakfast, room and board and transportation, and* *tours in
London), $500-600- include uniform, coaches, tournament fees, and meals).
These are tentative costs and do not include spending money or snacks. We
will get you the finalized cost as soon as we get it. *

· We will provide coaches. Parents and family members are welcome to come
with us. A list of separate hotels will be available as rooms at Surrey
University will only be used for Players and Coaches.


If you are interested in attending this trip, please email Coach Williams
ASAP to hold your spot and a small deposit will be collected by October
10th to secure your spot on the trip. Once the teams are set, we will
email out about the trip itinerary, payment plan for this trip and other
important details as well as a finalized cost. Please do not hesitate to
