Fred - they actually ask for the operating budget and "percentages of budget provided by charitable foundations, private organizations, and government entities” in the attachment section, so I can include the revenue you mentioned there. The application asks for “funding sources that you have for this project,” if you think I should include what you reference below in the funding sources section, I will.
Hallie - We need to justify the full amount, though they are likely to come in in the 20-30k range. As a request for general operating funds, we’re somewhat limited in what we can ask for, if we want to steer clear of rent and current programming costs. As we discussed yesterday, there’s a great need for some admin help, and if that can be covered by a grant like this, it won’t eat in to the fundraising we’ve done thus far.
Happy to revise this if you wish, and chat more on the phone. I can adjust these numbers to include a request for funds for Stewards of Children, but that’s more a programming cost than a general operating cost.
