Laura and John Williams are an active couple. They share a passion for
the outdoors, their three rescued dogs, and giving back to others.
They married in 2004, and just two years later, John was diagnosed
with prostate cancer during a routine screening. From that day
forward, Laura and John added another passion: ending prostate cancer.

my husband John would not still be with us today. We were stunned when
he was diagnosed in his 40's and then again when his cancer came back
a few years later.

Now he is being treated for advanced prostate cancer with new
treatments that have only been recently developed as a result of
federal prostate cancer research funding. We are so thankful that ZERO
plays an important role in protecting those research dollars, so
patients and families can benefit from new treatments."

While his recurrence was a set back, John is fortunate to have access
to new, life-extending treatments. Five years ago, these treatments
just didn't exist. Now, he's giving back to his community
and advocating that new treatments get funding.
