President Obama's rally at Bowie State University is tomorrow, Thursday, October 7th.

Governor Martin O'Malley,
Senator Barbara Mikulski,
Lieutenant Governor Anthony Brown,
Majority Leader Steny Hoyer,
Congresswoman Donna Edwards, and
Congressman Chris Van Hollen

Where: Bowie State University
14000 Jericho Park Road
Bowie, Maryland 20715

When: Thursday, October 7th
Doors open: 12:30 p.m.
Program begins: 1:45 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public. Anyone arriving with a white ticket, an online confirmation, or no ticket will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.

This is not a seated event -- attendees should expect to stand for the duration of the rally.

For security reasons, please avoid bringing bags to the rally if at all possible -- you should expect airport-like security. No laptops, signs, or banners are permitted.

Getting to the event:

It is strongly advised that visitors take the MARC train or Washington Metro Area Transit Authority buses to the rally. The MARC Penn line and MetroBus lines B21, B22, and B27 go directly to the Bowie State campus. Click here for more information on bus and train transportation to the rally:

There will be parking at the Bowie Race Track, at 8300 Race Track Rd., and a free shuttle to the event will be available. Please note this will be the ONLY off-site event parking. There will be no parking available on the Bowie State Campus.

The parking lot will open at 10:00 a.m.
Shuttle busses to the venue will begin at 10:30 a.m.

From route 50 east or west:

Take exit 11 to Route 197 north
Turn right on Old Chapel Road and follow to the end
Turn left on Race Track Rd.
Follow signs to parking lot
Shuttle busses will take you to the event

From Route 295 (Baltimore Washington Pkwy)

Take exit 11 Route 197 south
Pass Bowie State University
Go left on Old Chapel Road and follow to the end
Turn left on Race Track Rd.
Follow signs to parking lot
Shuttle busses will take you to the event

The only parking will be at this lot -- there is no parking available on campus.
