Our opponent, Derek Schmidt, proved last week that he is willing to let shadowy special interests carry him in this campaign. These special interests are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to beat Steve Six, but they don't want you to know who they are.<br>

In fact, they have made it impossible for you to find out. An Iowa-based group is trying to buy the election for Kansas Attorney General, and because they use tax loopholes to hide their donors, Kansans don’t know where their money comes from.<br>

It doesn’t stop with their secret donors, though. The AFF and Derek Schmidt, according to an editorial in today’s <em>Kansas City Star</em>, are <strong>"feeding the public misleading and incomplete information."</strong><br>

The television ads being paid for by the AFF distort and twist facts, in order to make up for the lack of support our opponent has received from actual voters in Kansas. The Kansas City Star has called the ads, <strong>"(D)istortions and scare tactics (that) don't amount to principled opposition. Instead, they are way out of line."<br>

While we don't know who is paying for Derek Schmidt's campaign, we know support for Attorney General Steve Six comes from dedicated, hard-working Kansans like you.
