HNTB recently worked on the design work for the North Portal Bridge in NJ. Design funding can't be released until an MOU is signed between NJ Transit, FTA and Amtrak. We understand that NJ Transit has given its sign off and the MOU is awaiting approval from FTA and Amtrak. Is there a hold-up at Amtrak or FTA that is preventing the MOU being signed or is it just administrative and likely to be completed in the next few days? Eric D.
