What do you guys think? Abe, We met this afternoon with Raza Bokhari regarding Aqua and the potential of utilizing private resources to get a machine(s) into Pakistan. As we touched on in the past, Raza is *extremely* close with General Musharraf and was inclined to help. Raza was confident that through General Musharraf’s non-profit, the Pervez Musharraf Foundation, we would be able to overcome any logistical and operational roadblocks in getting an initial machine into the country and functional. This first machine would more than likely need to be supplied on a pro bono basis for proof of concept. However, Raza was acutely aware of the ultimate goal of generating sales in the country. We can leverage the positive outcomes from the first machine’s performance, in addition to General Musharraf’s close ties to the military/other state entities and willingness to help, to ideally position Aqua for a broader deployment in the country. I know there has been some debate on the benefit of supplying machines on a pro bono basis. We firmly believe that this is an opportunity that will generate as much buzz as the machine in Haiti, with the simple difference being that Pakistan has the money to buy the follow up order. Lets discuss when you’re free. Closest ties to military of anyone etc... And that he gets the follow on play after the give away. R. Asked us to send Abe an email to tell him of our conversation with Raza (and cc: Doug). Mike, can you compose a draft? 2) Also, Mike, can you work on a draft engagement letter/contract for Raza to represent his fund? It would be along the lines of Green Atlantic. Let's discuss before you start drafting. Eric D.
