They have a former Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee staffer (and Schumer!) at Squire Sanders and we are just now hearing about it??? YES he can be useful!!!!! Please have him talk to her asap and show her there is another way to get this thing done without delaying for two years and re-bidding. Rogoff says the delegation is on board with him and therefore he has no incentive to re-think this thing.
And is it too tough on Squire Sanders to say that it is practically malpractice not to have put this out there earlier???

House:

NY-29- Although the 29th District seat (representing Elmira) is currently vacant, responsibilities for managing the office and representing the office fall to the Clerk of the House, Lorraine Miller. I have known Lorraine Miller since she was in Legislative Affairs with the Clinton Administration. Lorraine is from Fort Worth, Texas, and a former aide to Speakers Jim Wright, Tom Foley and Nancy Pelosi.

Rep. Mike Arcuri (D-NY-24)- Arcuri is the member representing a district bordering the 29th and within only a few miles of Elmira. I would suspect that CAF has significant employees that live in the 24th. Arcuri is on the House Transportation Committee and would likely be a key supporter. I have worked with his office on tax issues and should not have any problem getting in to see them on this matter.

Rep. Sheila Jackson- Lee (Houston-D)- I staffed Jackson-Lee as a Counsel on the House Judiciary Committee

Rep. Al Green (Houston-D)- I have worked with his Chief of Staff for almost 20 years.


Senate:

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY)- I staffed Schumer as a Counsel on the House Judiciary Committee.

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY)- I worked with her office on tax issues when she was a House Member.
