Hello friends,
As most of you already know, the 11th Annual Scott Mackler 5K
Run/Walk. Many of you have been part of this before, and I would greatly
appreciate all of you being part of it this year. This year it's on
Halloween -- October 31st, at 12-noon (also my parents' 29th anniversary).
For those of you in the DE political community, think of it as 600 voters in
one place, 2 days before Election Day.

Two years ago, we cruised past the $1 million mark, and your

Because the race is on Halloween, and in celebration of Lynn and Scott's
anniversary, all the racers are invited to walk/run in whatever costume they
deem appropriate.

don't have to tell you how important this
cause is to us, and if you've been to the run before you can see what it
means to the ALS patients in the community. Dad is my hero, and this run is
our way of giving back to the ALS community and him.

Also, the attached photo is from Dad receiving the Order of the First
State, the highest award the Governor can bestow on a civilian.

*Party*: Saturday, starting late afternoon, and going all night...

*Travel*: There are people coming from every major city on the east coast
(DC, Philly, NYC, Boston) and all over, and most of them are friendly -- so
don't let a lack of transportation keep you and your friends away. And there
will be buses from Philly.
