Bring Your Little Mover to
Summer Camps
Created by Artistic Director Lorraine Spiegler, CityDance's Dancing Around the World
camps offer learning and fun through culture
and creativity.
Little movers, ages 4-9, take daily classes in ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop, Afro-fusion,
Sri Lankan and more! They explore multi-cultural myths through dance and learn to
improvise, craft and create. The summer culminates in
a performance for family and friends.
Camps begin Monday, June 19
No audition required. Discounted Early Bird price of $50 off each camp will disappear

DREAM's
College Dive in Day
Before taking winter break, DREAM seniors
met for "College-Dive-In Day"! Our students
were hard at work completing college applications, researching scholarships opportunities,
editing entrance essays, and understanding the ins-and-outs of FAFSA.

Having the time and space to focus only on college and have my DREAM teachers here
to help answer my questions took away so much stress. I feel like I got so much
done and all
of us seniors we're in it together to support

DREAM walks side-by-side with our students along a 10-year journey to pursue their
dreams. Through pre-collegiate mentorship, DREAM students receive individual counseling
on the college application process including career assessment, essay-writing, and
financial-aid planning.

The National Endowment for the Arts announced CityDance School & Conservatory as
a recipient of their Art Works grant of $15,000 to fund CityDance's guest artist
project. The project allows dancers to study diverse styles and artistic viewpoints
with
internationally known guest choreographers and dance companies through residencies
and summer programming.

On Dec 18, Conservatory students shared the pieces that they are preparing to perform
at Youth America Grand Prix in an open rehearsal for family and friends, raising
awareness for the Alisher Saburov Scholarship fund, created in memoriam of Alisher
Saburov. The scholarship seeks to keep Alisher's memory alive through his legacy
of superb classical ballet training.
