Yes, I was thinking about grouping John with bad golfers on Saturday morning to
boost his ego a bit before the big event. What's worse - being put to shame by
your buds, or having to suffer through 18 holes with random cousin Ned from
eastern NC?

Are you going to get tee times for Friday? You guys should play at Pinehurst.
I offered to book some tee times for John and friends but he wants to make sure
that he gets to play with you. Awwwwwww.


Here's the Pinehurst golf info if you need it. The lady that I spoke with at
the resort said that No. 5 would be a good/not frustrating option for people
that do not golf a lot (John).

Pinehurst Resort Golf – Tee times may be reserved by calling 1-800-ITS-GOLF up
to sixty days in advance for courses No.1 and Nos. 3-8. Course No. 2 may be
reserved thirty days in advance.

Green Fees (range balls and golf cart are included):

--Courses No. 1, No. 3 and No. 5: $99 per person, per round.
--Course No. 2: $389 per person, per round. Home of the U.S. Open
championships in 1999 and 2014. You will lose at least a dozen balls.
--Courses No. 4, No. 6, No. 7 and No. 8: $229 per person, per round.

Pinehurst offers rental golf clubs for $75/day. If you need to rent clubs,
please let the pro shop know this when reserving your tee time.


Pinehurst courses listed in order of easiest to most difficult: No. 3, No. 5,
No. 1, No. 6, No. 7, No. 4, No. 8, No. 2.
