<p><span style="font-family: century schoolbook, serif; font-size: 12pt;">I was glad to meet you all last night at BTSN and hope that you had an informative and energizing experience – and were able to get home at a reasonable hour! Please let me know if you have any trouble signing up for my moodle page - your children may also be able to guide you through. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: century schoolbook, serif; font-size: 12pt;">A heads up about the coming week - we'll be finishing our Real World Math chapter about Algebra and microloans before we take the test on Thursday on our first 2 units: integers and algebra. There will be a study guide on which your children will take notes starting Tuesday. I'll post it on the moodle page this weekend. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: century schoolbook, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Looking back at my time spent with you, I realize how it was all too short! I wanted to emphasize that my experience as a Sidwell 6th grade homeroom teacher enables me to see the scope of the entire 6th grade curriculum and what kinds of demands your children face as they aim for success in all of their classes. Please know that I will do my best to help them maintain a healthy balance, while also pushing your students to challenge themselves. I've already been hearing about the amount of homework on their plates for all of their classes. Indeed, it will generally start to ratchet up even more by mid-year. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: century schoolbook, serif; font-size: 12pt;">During the brief time that we had (and with the pressures I felt), I realize that I may not have answered all of your relevant questions. Please be in touch if you have any lasting concerns. </span></p>
