Hey guys, here are some brief notes for the call this afternoon. Let me know
if you want me to dig up more information on any specific issue.


-Have functioning desalination plants in Monterey, CA and Tampa, FL (largest
in US)

-For project in Tampa, formed joint venture with American Water (largest
investor-owned US water and wastewater utility company) to form American
Water – Acciona Aqua LLC

-Their relationship with American Water was summed up in an article in *2006
* as:

-“It is not a joint venture where we have the responsibility to deliver
something and the other company has the responsibility to deliver something.
We are working together as a team. We put into the joint venture our
experience of desalination and they will put together the local knowledge
and experience of the clients.”

-It looks as though this relationship would address the main concerns
outlined in the document received from Acciona (attached), however it
doesn’t seem that the JV has won any new projects since the Tampa plant and
they therefore could be looking for additional options

-Could be helpful in identifying acquisition targets as related to Issue #2

-Access and familiarity with the US market look to be their key concerns
