Willow Restaurant
A Refreshing Lunchtime Treat
Looks like Ballston's five-star restaurant lives up to its reputation. Lunch at

was a refreshing treat.
As soon as we walked onto the crowded patio, (yes, crowded at 1:00 in the afternoon!)
we were met with a courteous "Hi how are you? Inside or out?" On a surprisingly
hot, 90-degree September afternoon, we opted to sit inside the air-conditioned
dining room.
After a couple minutes to decompress and look over the menu, our helpful server
arrived. As he took our orders, I couldn't help but notice how perfect this place
is for a leisurely meal. A beautiful dining space with a nice, courtyard view.
But as pretty as a restaurant is, you don't necessarily go there for the view, you
know. You go there for the food. So, good thing Willow's lunch menu corresponds
with the ambiance--just perfect.
But, as wonderful as our meals were, what truly stands out is the customer service.
As I took my last bite of a delectable turkey club, the dish was quickly taken
away before I had to a chance to look at a dirty plate. Nice touch. And what was
even nicer was the attention paid to our satisfaction at the end of the meal. We
wanted something sweet, but not too sugary. Our very accommodating server soon
returned with cups brimming full of fresh blueberries, even though they were not
on the menu.
So, does Willow live up to the hype? Yep. You bet it does.

Caring for a Family Member Who Has a Memory Problem?

Customized Toolkits of Information & Practical Skills (C-TIPS)

The C-TIPS project is a study to help caregivers learn to choose activities to keep
their family member more active and engaged. C-TIPS is conducted through an easy
and convenient online program. You do not need to keep any special appointments
and can complete C- TIPS from any computer with an internet connection. C-TIPS
also includes two phone calls with an occupational therapist to customize your experience.
