Wanted to let you both know - particularly after seeing the article below - that my parents will be selling their awe-inspiring 11-room (4 bedroom, 4-1/2 bath), Central Park-view apartment in the next 6-12 month time period if anyone with the last name Obama, Biden or D'Amato has any interest. (Can't handle caring for them long distance anymore and my next door neighbor here just moved, so we're purchasing her split-level, moving my family in there and then moving my folks into our current house and selling their apartment in 285 CPW.) It's one of the most sought-after buildings on Central Park - Kevin Bacon & Kyra Sedgwick are our upstairs neighbors for instance - so just perfect for a former Senator or President to settle into. We could negotiate a closed deal that would give Secret Service time to properly prepare the place. Or maybe another Managing Director of Park Strategies wants to leave his tennis club buddies and move on up to the REAL borough. Don't have POTUS's email, but Hunt, you really should pass this on (unless Chris or Alfonse want to snag it first.). I'd give BHO a first-rate deal.

Two postscripts ... Chris, just fyi, not sure if the craziness with our home purchase stuff will preclude it, but Deb and I are still considering if we can take you up on your lakefront visit offer, so if that was extended at our last get-together after too much Chateauneuf du Pape or is otherwise off the table, let me know.

And Hunt, I'm going to that lunch this coming Monday at the Willard for Gov. Hassan with Beau and your dad, so let me know if you'll be there.
