Hello long lost friend. We are having an impromptu bbq tomorrow afternoon beginning around 4 and lasting until whenever. I know this is last minute but if you guys feel like coming by, we'd love to see you. If not, can we make plans to get together soon? I know you'll be away at the lake a lot starting soon but I don't want too much time to pass before we see you again.

We obviously saw your recent news and are happy for you!

Enjoy your trip! Maybe we can see you guys next weekend, then.
Our ski trip was wonderful - it was so nice to get away and to relax for a week. I love spending time with the nephews and niece - that was the best part. Skiing got us excited for the Olympics - John keeps pausing the TV during downhill to show me how I can improve my form which is hilarious given my abilities (lack thereof).
