I received a call from the folks at HNTB. Thanks for reaching out to them. I like to run a couple ideas by you concerning this position.
I think they are concerned about my contacts in New York and the Northeast. It may or may not be a great fit from their point of view, but from my vantage point it would work. In addition, this position would enable me to leverage my port/agency contacts to their benefit.
Anyway, I had a good phone conversation with them and maybe something will work out with them. Even if it doesn't, I appreciate your help and will let you know how it goes.
