EMAIL DETAILS

Yes Vadim. Lawrence spoke to the reporter, Steve Braun, on Monday a few times. He delivered some of the background you helpfully clarified and provided our agreed upon statements/responses.

Braun indicated the story will run in the next few days and he will provide us with a heads-up in advance of publication.

Thanks - Ryan

Dear all,
sorry for being absent from our communication during last 48 hours due to my business trip. I believe that you must have already responded to the AP request, but just to follow up on the discussion above I find both answers appropriate.
Best,
Vadim

I’d suggest a more direct answer:
Mr. Apter recruited Biden and Archer, and Mr. Zlochevskyi approved their appointments to the board.

Obviously that is why we need to respond. What about the following:

“Mr. Apter recruited Archer and Biden to the board in consultation with company management and ownership”

would it be believable that the sole shareholder of a company did not approve a director of the company????

Subject: Follow up question from AP reporter
Importance: High

I sent the answers to the AP reporter (Braun) and also clarified some info in his questions per Vadim’s suggestion.

Braun has a follow up question: Was Mr. Zlochevskyi consulted or did he have any role in approving Hunter Biden’s appointment to the board of directors? If we are comfortable providing the answer, I think we should do it. If we don’t answer I think it raises additional questions about the relationship between Mr. Zlochevskyi and board members (specifically Biden). Either way Braun wants to know if we are going to answer the question.

Thank you.
