Hunter --

Did you know the primary election has been moved to June 24th this year?

Many people are not aware of that and will not be in town that Tuesday, which is why I wanted to let you know about early voting. Early voting is relatively new in Maryland, but you can actually vote at certain polls before election day. Starting this Thursday, June 12th and continuing through June 19th, you can vote early. The polls are open from 10 am to 8 pm.

Go here for a list of the early voting locations by county so you can find the location closest to you: www.elections.state.md.us/voting/documents/2014_Early_Voting_Centers_web.pdf

Your vote in the Democratic primary is essential. In Maryland, the winner of the Democratic primary almost always wins the election and goes on to be Governor. And this year, with the change in primary date, experts expect voter turnout to be low. Victory will go to the candidate who is best able to get his or her supporters to the polls so please take the time to vote early.

This election is extremely important and we need to get out to vote for Doug. 16 days, let's win this for Doug!

Thanks,

Zach
