Mitch McConnell is a clown, a fraud, and obviously thinks the American people and the press who cover him are stupid.

Earlier today, he stood up on the floor of the Senate and used the stolen Congressional election in NC-9 as an opportunity to hammer people who say Republicans exaggerate the prevalence of "voter fraud" to push racist and discriminatory voter access laws.

Well, here's the truth: what happened in NC-9 was not "voter fraud." It was election fraud. It wasn't people trying to vote illegally. It was a Republican paying someone to steal absentee ballots, illegally.

It was a sick display from the Senate Majority Leader. And he should pay a price for it, in the language he and those who seek to silence voters are sure to understand:
