Wednesday, November 9th: 2011 Veterans Day Speech Competition. 7:30 - 9:30 p.m. (Boston, MA)
The event will feature four minute speaches with the theme: "Keeping America Safe: Progressive Values, Our Military, and President Obama." All can compete. All can attend. Attendees vote for the winner. Winner receives a bronze Truman Inaugural Metal from 1949.

Thursday, November 10th: Asia Expert Group Meeting. 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. (Washington, D.C.)
A special opportunity to discuss Burma with Derek Mitchell, a Truman Senior Fellow and U.S. Special Envoy to Burma.


Monday, November 14th: Development Expert Group Meeting. 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. (Washington, D.C.)
Join our international development experts as they strategize for our latest campaign, Make Us Strong.


Tuesday, November 15th: Boston Chapter Meeting. 7:00 - 9:30 p.m. (Boston, MA)
The Boston-area Truman Fellows' monthly chapter meeting, where they will discuss important issues in national security today.


Tuesday, November 29th: Nukes Expert Group Dinner. 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. (Washington, DC)
An excellent opportunity to meet with our foremost experts on nuclear security issues over dinner.
