Let's discuss - certainly if we can find someone who will to pay us enough to do this we can figure it out, but I am not sure our current network of potential investors are the right type for something like this. Would need to know a little more. Probably worth meeting with the founder of Lacan to discuss more about this. Eric D. In particular one of the major construction firms in Brazil, smaller than OAS but still one of the major firms, has been talking to Lacan to see how they could help with this. Following the conversation with Hunter regarding potentially joining with Rosemont to have a platform where we could service client needs together I started thinking this may be a client opportunity in South America we could work on together. A typical way deals work is you have a specific project, you put together project presentations, and you go try to find funders for that project. In my talks with Gui we have been trying to evaluate if there is another way we could help the construction company do this in order to be prepared for the unique situation in Brazil and the many projects in airport, port, roads, etc that will be occurring over the coming years. For example could we present the construction firm and general situation in Brazil in order to find a number of investors that invest in infrastructure and come up with a guideline on the types of projects they would be interested in investing (i.e. IRR, project type, etc). It would be a kind of club deal. For the investors it would give them access to the major infrastructure projects that will be occurring in Brazil. For the construction firm it would enable them to be more confident and aggressive in going after the top deals because they know they have sources of equity financing. The construction company would be responsible for finding the projects that fit the criteria, they would then bring this back to the group of investors who would make the ultimate decision about investing. The way the deal would work for us is that we would be hired by the client to give them access to the different infrastructure investors around the world and put this group of investors together for them. Compensation would probably be some sort of retainer/development fee and success fee. What are your thoughts?
