2012 Democratic National Convention Preview

Please join us for a presentation by Stephen J. Kerrigan, CEO of the Democratic National Convention Committee (DNCC), and Leah Chandler, Deputy Finance Director of the 2012 Charlotte Host Committee. Mr. Kerrigan and Ms. Chandler will provide an overview of the DNCC's and the Host Committee’s plans for the 2012 Democratic National Convention, which will take place in Charlotte, NC, during the week of September 3, 2012.


Stephen J. Kerrigan has held a number of key positions in government and politics for over two decades. From local government to the Massachusetts State House, the halls of Congress and the White House, Mr. Kerrigan has gained a wealth of experience and knowledge working at the top levels of government. As chief of staff for President Obama’s Presidential Inaugural Committee, Mr. Kerrigan managed a staff of nearly 450, a $62 million budget and an army of 17,500 volunteers to create the largest event in the history of the United States of America.

Leah Chandler has served as a fundraiser on numerous local, state and federal campaigns since 2002. She has served as a key fundraiser on two U.S. Senate campaigns and also held the post of Midwest Finance Director for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
