It is my great pleasure to share with you that yesterdayH.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco presented PeacePlayers International (PPI) with the Non-Governmental Organization for Peace of the Year Award[http://www.peace-sport.org/news/peace-through-sport-takes-first-place-on-the-podium.html] at the 2011 Peace and Sport Forum in Monaco.

The jury, which included prominent figures from the International Olympic Committee, international organizations and sports media, recognized PPI's achievements over the past decade as embodying what sport can do to build bridges between divided communities.

The award not only acknowledgesthe proven success of our work in Cyprus, Israel and the West Bank, Northern Ireland and South Africa, but also distinguishes PPI as a leader in the growing sport for good movement globally.

This experience has been a great honor for PPI, and we are extremely grateful for your support in allowing us to achieve our goals. I look forward to sharing more stories of our success with you in the future.
