Your staff escorted tour of the East Wing has been approved for 2 people on
11/5/2011 10:00:00 AM. []

Please instruct your guests to arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled tour
time at the Southeast Gate at Alexander Hamilton Place and East Executive
Avenue, right off of 15th Street and E Street with Photo ID.

A White House staff member or intern must meet your guests at the Southeast
Gate. Guests who arrive without their staff escort will not be permitted in
until their staff escort meets them at the gate. The staff member or intern
does not have to accompany your guests on the tour, but must be present to
check them in at the gate.

Groups who arrive for a tour should not bring:

€ Cameras or Video Recorders
€ Handbags, book bags, backpacks or purses
€ Food or beverages, tobacco products, personal grooming items (i.e.
makeup, lotion, etc.)
€ Strollers
€ Any pointed objects
€ Aerosol containers
€ Guns, ammunition, fireworks, electric stun guns, mace, martial arts
weapons/devices, or knives of any size.

There is no place at the White House to check a bag or a prohibited item. If
it is raining, umbrellas are permitted. Cell phones and cell phones with
cameras are allowed, however you will not be permitted to use them inside of
the White House.

All visitors age 18 years of age or older will need to present photo
identification with information matching the name previously submitted for
clearance. Individuals without acceptable identification or whose
identification does not exactly match the name or data cleared for entry may
be denied entry. Acceptable forms of ID include:

€ Valid Government issued United States¹ drivers license
€ Valid Government issued United States¹ identification card
€ Valid United States or other official government issued passports
€ Valid United States State Department ID
€ For foreign nationals, only VALID passports are accepted

No foreign-issued state IDs, foreign-issued driver¹s licenses, expired
passports, or other forms of identification will be accepted.

United States Secret Service officers are posted in every room to provide
historical information about the room and the White House. Please feel free
to ask them questions.

White House tours are subject to last minute changes or cancellations. You
will be notified by email if your tour is changed or cancelled. Your guests
may call the White House Visitors Office 24-hour information line at
202-456-7041 for the most current information about White House tours.

Tours are significantly enhanced with a stop by the White House Visitor
Center located at the southeast corner of 15th and E Streets. The location
is easy to find by looking for three American flags and the blue awnings.
Visitors should allow 20 minutes to one hour to see the videos and exhibits.
The Visitor Center is open 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. seven days a week.
