Hey man, Hope your trips are going alright. Still waiting for Ron and Samantha to stop fighting so we can get dinner plans finalized. I don't want to put you out, but I thought I'd run something by you- I had extensive meetings with Blue State Digital about www.barrackobama.com and the need for DDoS protection (the types of hactivist attacks which have brought down Mastercard, BofA, SarahPAC, Ron Paul, Talking Points Memo, etc...). They are very random and while most people would not suspect that Barrack Obama would be a target of such an attack (based on trending support of the types of movements the hactivists support, e.g. Occupy Wall Street), many attacks are also launched by corporations, quasi-governmental groups overseas, and third-party cover groups representing who knows who. Blue State Digital made the pitch to OFA for this type of protection because they felt it was an intelligent "CYA" move- either OFA would get protection or they would be absolved of responsibility by virtue of having advised such protection. OFA responded to BSD with no interest- at least according to BSD. The whole thing seems a bit too casual, especially given how high-profile the site is and the security concerns around contributors sensitive financial information. If you happen to know anyone at OFA that might be worth contacting, I'd appreciate guidance. This is the crazy liberal writing- not a desperate salesperson. I can't even get paid on this because I have capped-out my year.... Best, Josh -- *703-939-0859 | **Connect on LinkedIn<http://www.linkedin.com/in/joshuanathanmartin>
